London, UK – 05 July 2018 – BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking today announced that it has appointed Paul Hollingsworth as UK Economist, effective immediately. Based in London, Paul is responsible for covering the UK economy and reports to Luigi Speranza, Head of European Economics, BNP Paribas.
Paul joins from Capital Economics where he was a Senior UK Economist, with responsibility for macroeconomic analysis of the UK economy. Previously he covered emerging market economies, global financial markets and Europe at Capital Economics. Prior to joining Capital Economics in 2012, he worked in the macroeconomic analysis team at HM Treasury.
