London, UK – 23 June 2017 – To mark its 150th anniversary of operating in the UK, BNP Paribas is pleased to announce that it is partnering with three charities – Naomi House & Jacksplace, Starlight and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The bank has offered 150 tickets to children and their families and carers to attend the semi-finals of the Aegon championships at The Queen’s Tennis Club.

Anjuli Pandit, Head of UK CSR, BNP Paribas said: “BNP Paribas has been supporting British tennis and the Queen’s tennis tournament since 2009. We hope that all the children, families and carers joining us on Saturday will enjoy a fun and memorable day out at the tennis watching some of the world’s top players. Many thanks to all our charity partners for working with us.”

Antonia Dalmahoy, Director of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, said: “We are delighted to be working with BNP Paribas and are very grateful for their generous donation of tickets to the semi-finals at Queens. This is a fantastic opportunity for our young patients and their families and we are sure they are going to have a wonderful time. We look forward to working with BNP Paribas again in the future.”

Jill McDonagh, Corporate Accounts Manager at Naomi House & Jacksplace said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be able to take a number of Naomi House & Jacksplace families to Queens courtesy of BNP Paribas. Giving families the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation to their own is hugely powerful, and so too is giving them the chance to let their hair down and enjoy themselves. This really is a unique opportunity and we are hugely grateful to the whole team at BNP Paribas for making it possible.”

Sue Wildman, Starlight’s Head of Wish Granting & Children Services, said: “We’re extremely grateful to BNP Paribas for hosting eight Starlight families on semi-finals day of the Aegon Championships at The Queen’s Club and would like to thank them for their support. Days like today are such a treat for our Starlight children who are undergoing treatment for serious illnesses, giving them a welcome break from hospital and the chance to make happy memories with their families.”
